The Brookeland/Lake Sam Rayburn KOA offers the best in fishing and outdoor activities. Fishermen have their choice to fish in private lake, or walk down the nature trail to fish from the banks of Mill Creek. Both offer a wide variety of fishing experiences.
The private lake is stocked with hybrid blue gill, bass, and catfish exclusively for our campers. Many fishermen like to come to the private lake to catch their bait fish for the tournaments that this area is known for, while others just like to come down to the lake to fish and relax.
When you have that prize fish on shore come up and have it weighed on our certified scales recognized by the Texas State Department of Parks and Wildlife.
